IAMCO management is headed by a General Manager responsible for the operations of DPMO, AEP, COP and LOS.
The four branches are supported by a Quality Assurance Manager and additionally, IAMCO has representatives at the NATO AWACS Main Operation Base (MOB) in Germany for the handling of transient aircraft and other aircraft services, including the washing of aircraft and de-icing.

  • AEP (Airframe and Engines Programme) and COP (Component Programme) have similar structures and tasks. Both are responsible for managing subcontracts for E-3A airframe and components respectively. This means management of all aircraft related program efforts.

  • LOS (Logistic Support) is responsible for coordination and control of the Technical Logistics Support in the areas of Technical Documentation and Material Supply. This is achieved through the performing of material management operations based on enhanced material management systems.

  • CCB (Contract, Commercial Administrator and Industrial Benefits) Commercial, Contracting, Business, IB Management and HR is responsible of:
    • Contract management, maintaining their configuration and managing the related work orders/purchase orders/invoicing and payments
    • Distribution of industrial benefits to the nations participating in the NAEW&C program
    • Financial and legal administration, also as a liaison with the Board of Auditors (BOA) and the external audit firm in charge
    • Ensuring compliance of IAMCO operations with Italian tax and legal regulations with the support of external consultants
    • Advising the General Manager on the activity
    • Human resources management

  • QA (Quality Assurance) is responsible to ensure that the company Quality Management System is implemented, effectively maintained, continuously improved and fully meets the EN9100 (ISO9001) and AQAP 2310 requirements. It is also responsible, on behalf of NATO customer, of continuous monitoring of the network of maintenance organizations supporting the NATO AWACS Depot Level Maintenance.

  • DPMO (DLM Programme Management Office) is responsible to provide a clear understanding of the processes which involve stakeholders from industry and government and processes which only involve industry or government. These processes shall be transparent, mapped and based on agreed data sources. It is also responsible for process monitoring achieved through the use of process metrics and implementation of process controls through the DLM Program Management Review.
